As the Assistant Director, Outdoor Adventure Learning (AD/OAL), you are responsible for providing leadership for the enrolment of students into the MOE-OBS Challenge (MOC) Programme under the National Outdoor Adventure Education Masterplan. You will lead a team in working closely with external government agencies and internal MOE stakeholders to ensure that the enrolment is well managed.

What you will be working on
• Collaborate with Outward Bound Singapore (OBS)/ Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY) to formulate strategies and develop solutions for the enrolment of students into the MOC; implement and review standard operating procedures (SOPs) for planning course calendars; and assign schools to course weeks
• Lead a team in administrating the enrolment of students into the MOC Programme to optimise student participation and work with participating secondary schools to support students’ participation in the MOC Programme
• Review and improve the administration processes for students’ enrolment into the MOC Programme
• Lead and collaborate with various stakeholders in designing and developing the MOC Enrolment Portal in the Student Development Integrated System
• Support the review and evaluation of the MOC Programme to measure the impact and outcomes of the programme
• Present MOC enrolment policy and operational matters at MOE leadership meetings and joint meetings with OBS/MCCY for updates and/ or guidance and decision
What we are looking for
• Relevant experience in administration or operations management and managing complex processes, and at least 3 years of relevant experience in leading teams
• A strategic thinker with strong leadership capabilities, ability to inspire and guide a team of executives and senior executives and build effective partnerships with internal and external stakeholders across ministries.
• Strong organisational and communication skills, with experience in process improvement and data-driven decision making
• Ability to thrive in dynamic environments and balance strategic oversight with hands-on involvement
• Technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel and analytical tools, and experience with process reviews and performance monitoring would be an advantage.
