What the role is

The Executive will support the Compliance Operations team in implementing and maintaining the employment debarment or blacklist (BL) administration and monitoring framework for employers, employment agencies, and foreign workers who have violated work pass regulations. This role is essential in ensuring the day-to-day operations of the BL process and contributing to the overall compliance efforts of the Work Pass Division.

What you will be working on

• Administer BL for employers, work pass holders and employment agencies in violation of work pass regulations. - Evaluate requests from other divisions within MOM and external agencies to determine if BL is warranted under the BL administration and monitoring framework. - Ensure necessary documentation is complete and accurate for BL requests, in line with SOP. - Assess appeals related to BL, in line with SOP. • Address and resolve inquiries from stakeholders regarding BL status and procedures, as well as escalated cases by MOMCC from work pass applicants within established service level. • Assist in the documentation of standard operating procedures for the BL administration framework. • Support the Senior Manager/Managers in implementing new initiatives and improvements to the BL processes, such as conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) based on predefined test scenarios and expected system performance to ensure accuracy in system implementation.

• Possess good customer service and communication (written and spoken) and stakeholder management skills • Possess good analytical, creative thinking and problem-solving skills • Be a good team player with a customer-focused mindset • Be proactive in problem solving and adaptable in dealing with different situations and handling multiple portfolios/tasks • Be able to handle difficult customers, work independently, adapt to fast and complex changes; and handle multiple tasks/portfolios
