You will be part of a dynamic team driving the digital transformation of MSD, helping to shape the enterprise digital ecosystem and developmental roadmap. You will play a pivotal role in realising MSD’s vision of becoming a resilient, data-driven, and intelligent digital organisation by ensuring that technology initiatives align seamlessly with broader strategic objectives.
You will maintain oversight of the digital portfolio, reviewing, enhancing, and recommending new strategic processes and capability frameworks to ensure our digital investments deliver maximum operational effectiveness and mission success.
This is both a digital and cybersecurity role, where you will balance digital demands with cybersecurity frameworks and controls to effectively govern the digital portfolio.

What you will be working on
You will be evaluating emerging technology trends, enterprise platforms, and digital architectures to formulate robust strategic roadmaps. You will also be actively involved in developing and refining digital doctrines and policies as well as governance models, partnering with key stakeholders to guide the planning of next-generation digital initiatives.
What we are looking for
You should have a tertiary education, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields, with relevant experience in digital/IT strategy or plans, enterprise IT architecture, or digital transformation initiatives. You must possess good written and verbal communication skills, an ability to translate complex technical concepts into strategic value, and be a collaborative team player. Possession of certifications in strategic planning, enterprise architecture, and/or project management is advantageous. Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.

The Military Security Department (MSD)’s core business is in Counter Intelligence and internal security for MINDEF/SAF. MSD was formed in 1975 to counter the threats of espionage, subversion and sabotage against MINDEF/SAF. It began with two main entities, namely the Counter Intelligence Branch (CIB) and Field Security Branch (FSB). Over the years, the department has continued to evolve and our roles expanded in tandem with the changing security environment. Today, our roles also include Counter Terrorism and Cyber Security.
