Office of Planning – Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager

What you will be working on

As Deputy/Assistant Manager in the Office of Planning, you will support the delivery of strategic initiatives and contribute to RP's transformation journey. This role offers the opportunity to develop your strategic planning capabilities, collaborate across functions, and grow professionally whilst supporting RP's vision of remaining innovative and future-ready.

What we are looking for

Strategic Support
•    Support the development and implementation of RP's strategic initiatives and workplans.
•    Assist in corporate planning processes by gathering data, conducting analysis, and preparing reports.
•    Coordinate cross-functional initiatives to ensure alignment with strategic objectives, timely delivery and quality outcomes.
•    Monitor progress of RP’s performance, provide regular updates and areas for improvement to management.
•    Contribute to strategic reviews by collecting feedback and analysing performance metrics.
•    Support cross-functional or cross-departmental workstreams as needed

Research & Analysis
•    Conduct research on trends and best practices relevant to RP's strategic priorities.
•    Support horizon scanning activities on emerging trends and their implications for RP’s strategic direction by gathering information on local and global developments.
•    Assist in data collection and analysis for surveys, focus group discussions, and stakeholder engagement activities to provide recommendations that support strategic decision-making and policy development.

Organisation Development
•    Support change management efforts, stakeholder-centricity initiatives and engagement activities including surveys and focus group discussions by preparing briefing materials and presentations.
•    Assist in process improvement efforts by documenting procedures and identifying areas for enhancement.
•    Provide administrative support for board meetings and engagement activities.
•    Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with established procedures.
