What you will be working on
You will handle everything from delivery and setup to live operation of state lecterns, teleprompters, lighting, sound systems, visual equipment, and event furniture. You will need strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate effectively with internal teams, event organisers and vendors. You will be part of a team that maintains professional standards by ensuring that events run smoothly, so as to empower senior POHs to communicate with clarity and confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Transport and logistics: Drive the MDDI van to deliver, set up, and collect state lecterns, production equipment, and event furniture.
• Technical setup and operation: Set up and operate state lecterns, audio-visual systems, and teleprompter equipment, troubleshooting any technical issues that arise.
• Equipment management: Maintain accurate inventory of all systems, equipment, and vehicles, ensuring everything is fully operational, well-maintained, and ready for deployment.
• Stakeholder coordination: Work closely with event stakeholders to coordinate timely delivery and collection of state lecterns for events.
• Compliance: Follow all MDDI safety and security policies, and SOPs for vehicles, equipment, and State lecterns.
What we are looking for
Experience
• At least two years in event production (broadcast audio/visual background preferred).
Physical Requirements
• Able to handle equipment setup, event logistics, and carry heavy/bulky equipment.
Technical Skills
• Basic technical knowledge of lighting and audio is a must.
• Intermediate IT knowledge and strong technical aptitude.
Availability
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as events requirements.
Driving
• Valid Class 3 driving licence with a clean driving record.
Communication & Collaboration
• Good written and spoken English.
• Skilled at coordinating with organisers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Collaborative, adaptable, and proactive with diverse stakeholders.
