What the role is

You drive and develop data governance and data analysis for the Artillery Institute, to enable the Institute to analyse and exploit data digitally, and derive impactful insights that can fundamentally improve training design, processes and outcomes.

What you will be working on

- Define and operationalise Training Institute-specific data use cases and structures to support training analytics across various data domains - Conduct routine and ad-hoc data analysis to generate actionable insights that enhance training design, processes, and outcomes - Develop reports and dashboards to support decision-making at senior training forums and command platforms - Govern data standards and drive integration of insights across multiple stakeholders to strengthen digital training and analytics capabilities Challenge(s) - Keeping pace with rapid advancements in data analytics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and enterprise data management to ensure methodologies remain relevant and impactful for training applications - Deriving coherent, actionable insights from complex, multi-domain military training data while integrating lessons across diverse training workstreams and operational contexts

What we are looking for

- Education in Computer Science, Data Science or a related field - At least 6 years of working experience in Data Science and Analytics, including data science project management, hands-on expertise in programming languages, data science techniques is preferred - Knowledge of big data processing frameworks and tools is advantageous - Strong critical thinking, effective communication, and interpersonal skills - Excellent relationship building and adaptability skills Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
