Budget Management Officer - SPF/PCG

The Singapore Police Force (SPF) plays a critical role in keeping Singapore safe and secure with our mission to prevent, deter and detect crime. As a Budget Management Officer in the Police Coast Guard, you play an important role in ensuring financial compliance and providing finance support for all internal stakeholders. You will be providing value-added services to the SPF Finance and Procurement community in a challenging business environment. You will be placed under the Management Executive Scheme.

You will be an advisor to various internal stakeholders, engaging and supporting them in the areas of budgeting, accounting, fixed asset management, financial policies, as well as liaising with both internal and external auditors. You will also be required to partake in projects that help to enhance systems and processes to strengthen the financial integrity of SPF.

We are looking for a pro-active and dynamic individual to be part of our Finance Team. Requirements • Fields of study in Finance, Accounting, Business, or other relevant fields; • Possess strong analytical skills and prepared to work hands-on with accounting functions; • Meticulous and independent worker who is able to carry out your responsibilities with minimum supervision; • Possess effective interpersonal and communication skills; • Good time management and be able to meet tight deadlines; • Prior knowledge in budget and financial management is an advantage; and • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (e.g. Microsoft Excel, Work and PowerPoint) and SAP would be an advantage Short-listed candidates will be notified within two weeks after the closing date of applications.
