Statistical Support Officer (Contract)

• Data Entry: Enter statistical information and survey responses into computer systems, including spreadsheets and databases, ensuring accuracy.

• Data Checking: Review statistical datasets for mistakes and inconsistencies, making corrections to keep records accurate and up-to-date.

• Document Management: Organise, scan, and file survey forms and documents safely, whether on paper or computer, while keeping information confidential.

• System Upkeep: Help maintain data quality by performing data cleansing and ensuring information is properly organised.

• Operational Support: Work with team members and other departments on data collection tasks and help prepare reports and documents.

• Carry out other duties as requested by management.

• Minimum O level qualifications

• Some experience in data entry, office work, or working with numbers would be helpful but not essential.

• Good attention to detail with numbers, ability to work with data, and willingness to learn new processes.

• Careful attention to detail, ability to work at a reasonable pace, good communication with colleagues, and willingness to solve problems.

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel) required. Additional computer skills are welcome but not essential.

• Any experience with databases, surveys, or statistical software would be an advantage but is not required.

This is a 1-year contract position. As part of the shortlisting process for this role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and/or undergo further assessment.
