What you will be working on
As part of the Media Relations team, you will work with internal and external stakeholders to plan and execute integrated communications plans, and to acquire positive mindshare for MSF’s work.
The key responsibilities include:
• Developing and executing media communications strategies and plans for MSF’s events and announcements.
• Monitoring media activities and reports to assess potential ramifications on MSF, and working with divisions to recommend a suitable response.
• Developing media engagement strategies and foster media relationships – draft media materials, manage media requests and interviews, coordinate issues and crisis communications, and evaluate media outcomes.
• Provide staffing support to MSF Political Officer Holders and Senior Management Team in terms of event liaison and materials preparation, such as speeches and talking points for interviews.

Requirements:
• Good editing, writing and communication skills
• Self-driven, adaptable, and a good team player
• Good analytical ability and project management skills
• Proficiency in a mother-tongue language would be an advantage
