What the role is

You will be attached to the Institute of Judicial Studies (IJS), which is the research arm of the Singapore Judicial College (SJC). IJS’ primary responsibility is to undertake, lead and facilitate rigorous multi-method research on a wide range of issues relevant to the judiciary, including judicial education and training. The internship offers you opportunities to assist with law-related research to facilitate IJS’ research publications in appropriate outlets.

What you will be working on

• Assist IJS researchers with law related research e.g. literature reviews, formatting and referencing.

What we are looking for

• Undergraduate or postgraduate law student with experience in legal research, including referencing and citation. The successful candidate will be appointed for a 30-week internship across 2026 or based on IJS’ operating needs and candidate’s availability. Note: Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
