What the Role Is:
The Delivery Manager & Product Owner is the execution engine and strategic product lead of the product organisation. This dual role combines delivery excellence with product ownership, working at the intersection of Product, Engineering, and Design to translate business vision into delivered value.

You will own both the product strategy and the execution model, ensuring that the right features are built efficiently and delivered predictably. Your mission is to build a scalable delivery system whilst driving product success through clear vision, stakeholder engagement, and data-driven decision making.

Product Ownership & Strategy

  • Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business objectives
  • Manage and prioritise the product backlog, ensuring maximum value delivery
  • Conduct market research and user analysis to identify opportunities and validate product decisions
  • Engage with senior stakeholders to align on product direction and secure buy-in
  • Own product success metrics and continuously monitor performance against targets
  • Make data-driven decisions on feature prioritisation and product direction

Delivery Partnership & Execution

  • Partner closely with Product Managers to translate roadmap priorities into executable delivery plans
  • Ensure initiatives meet "definition of ready" before entering development
  • Provide delivery feasibility input during roadmap planning
  • Maintain shared accountability for timeline commitments and release readiness

Establishing Execution Discipline

  • Run planning cadences (sprint planning, quarterly planning, portfolio reviews)
  • Build and maintain integrated delivery trackers (milestones, dependencies, risks)
  • Own RAID logs and escalation processes to prevent last-minute surprises
  • Align engineering capacity with product priorities

Driving Visibility & Predictability

  • Define and monitor delivery KPIs (velocity, cycle time, predictability, release cadence)
  • Maintain dashboards for stakeholders and leadership
  • Continuously improve planning accuracy and execution reliability

Product Development Lifecycle Management

  • Oversee conceptualisation, development, product roll-out and continuous improvement of features
  • Work closely with development, UX, data and operations teams in an iterative, agile manner
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify suitable milestones and launch strategies
  • Plan and execute go-to-market processes across various channels

Systems & Process Improvement

  • Configure and optimise workflows in Jira/Confluence (or similar tools)
  • Standardise documentation and reporting processes
  • Run retrospectives and data-driven process improvements
  • Ensure product operates within allocated budget

What we are looking for

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven product management and delivery management experience in a fast-paced, agile environment working directly with engineers and designers (ideally at least 5 years)
  • Experience as a Product Owner with demonstrated ability to manage product backlogs and stakeholder expectations
  • Proven track record driving cross-functional execution across multiple teams
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive product decisions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Proven record of successfully delivering high-impact, complex projects whilst managing risks
  • Demonstrated ability to be a key influencer in team strategy and product direction
  • Experience with budget management and resource allocation
  • A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related subject area is a bonus
  • Experience with consumer-facing products is a plus
  • Familiarity with product management tools and methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, OKRs)
