MANAGER / ASSISTANT DIRECTOR, BICENTENNIAL COORDINATION & OPERATIONS
COMMUNICATIONS AND SERVICE EXCELLENCE DIVISION

What you will be working on
To support the Bicentennial celebrations, the Judiciary is looking for a project management professional to oversee the complex delegate operations for our three signature events. This role focuses on the administrative and logistical backbone of guest attendance, ensuring that the high volume of local and international VIPs are seamlessly integrated into the event flow.
About the Bicentennial Celebrations: In 2026, Singapore marks the bicentennial of the Second Charter of Justice which laid the foundations for our modern legal system. The Judiciary will be actively involved in these celebrations, commemorating 200 years of upholding the Rule of Law.
Responsibilities:
Registration & Seating: Manage the RSVP lifecycle, including complex database reconciliation, guest-list updates, and protocol-compliant seating for local and international VIPs.
Delegate Logistics: Coordinate operational support for visiting dignitaries, including transport scheduling, and the administrative management of the Liaison Officer (LO) programme.
Operational Liaison: Act as the central node for translating guest requirements (e.g., dietary, security, and access) into executable vendor and venue requirements.
Event Documentation: Develop and maintain the master delegate database, administrative programmes, and logistical guides for all Bicentennial event support staff.
Vendor Management: Oversee third-party contractors and service providers to ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and contractual obligations.
End-to-End Project Administration: Manage the administrative workflow for event-related procurement and handle post-event matters, including the archiving of all project documents and assets.
What we are looking for
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Event Management, or related field, with minimum 3 to 7 years of relevant experience
• Experienced Communications or event management professional: Proven track record in public relations, corporate communications, or event management, preferably within a government or large organisation.
• Operational Precision: Highly organised with a meticulous eye for detail; capable of managing complex databases and shifting priorities under tight deadlines.
• Stakeholder Management: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to engage professionally with diverse stakeholders, including high-ranking officials and international dignitaries.
• VIP Operations & Protocol: Direct experience in managing high-level guest operations, including protocol-compliant seating, invitation/RSVP reconciliation, and the coordination of liaison programs.
• Event Execution: Strong vendor management skills and on-site experience in delivering complex, high-pressure events and ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances
