[LTA-P&P] SENIOR MANAGER, BUS NETWORK PLANNING
What the role is
What you will be working on
Guide review on bus network based on trigger factors such as new development areas and key feedback from commuters and community leaders.
Translate broad bus network strategies into specific proposals for target areas in discussion with team members.
Lead cross-team discussions on bus route proposals that require navigation of trade-offs between network connectivity and other factors such as operational considerations and external stakeholder management.
Engage community leaders on bus route proposals.
Oversee timely bus service implementation by bus operators.
What we are looking for
Proficiency in interpretating travel demand profile from ticketing data.
Strong experience in public transport planning, urban mobility, transport engineering, or related fields or related fields. Background knowledge on bus network can be an added advantage.
Strong judgement in cost and benefit analysis, while working within limited resources and weighing in ground sentiments.
Ability to navigate differing and conflicting opinions in reaching consensus.
Strong facilitation and communication skills, including framing of narrative to the target audience.
