Senior Analyst (Operations Technology Network)

You lead a team to create, maintain and execute technical test scenarios, and deploy cyber defence tools used for the conduct of cyber exercises in the Singapore Armed Forces.

- Assist in building IT aspects of exercise networks and cyber defence toolsets for Cyber Evaluation Test and Experimentation Centre (CyTEC) training programmes - Oversee maintenance of computing and networking infrastructure housed within CyTEC facilities - Lead a team and act as main technical expert in building virtual networks using hypervisor and virtualisation solutions such as ESXi and VMware - Integrate virtual networks with operational technology testbeds, prototypes, and digital twins to create comprehensive training environments - Enable expedient development of relevant training networks when new operational needs arise - Create and maintain realistic training environments that simulate the complexities of defending IT systems in operational contexts Challenge(s) - Staying abreast of new IT developments to keep IT systems ahead of anticipated operational needs - Maintaining strong cyber and technical competencies in the IT networking domain to understand the training environment needs for defending IT systems - Applying various technical skillsets and tools in software programming, creating networks, and penetration testing

- Education in Computer Networks, Computer Science, or related cyber disciplines - Relevant networking and virtualisation cyber certifications is preferred - At least 6 years of relevant experience in networking and server administration using Windows and Linux - Experience in using tools and platforms related to software programming, virtual machines, penetration testing, incident response, and general cybersecurity - Demonstrated competency in enterprise IT infrastructure including computer, networking, and virtualisation technologies - Ability to deploy and manage virtual and segmented IT networks for training or exercise purposes - Basic to intermediate knowledge of cyber defence, monitoring, and investigation tools Appointment will be commensurate with your experience.
