Deputy Principal/Senior/Executive/Engineer (Tuas South Incineration Plant)
What the role is
What you will be working on
You will be responsible for the following:
Lead a group of technical officers to oversee the general maintenance, repairs and cleaning of facilities
Manage security and fire fighting system within the premises
Lead and coordinate review on Workplace Safety and Health issues
Call and administer tenders/contract related to facilities management and safety in compliance to NEA procurement guidelines and IM requirements.
Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned
What we are looking for
Job Qualifications/Experience:
Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Facilities Management
Experience in government procurement and contract administration, including drafting of tender documents will be an added advantage.
Job Requirements:
Ability to lead, interact and foster teamwork
Ability to manage and administer contracts
Good problem-solving, writing, communication and presentation skills
Able to work independently under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Proficient in using IT equipment and computer programs such as Microsoft Office, etc.
