What the role is
What you will be working on
As an Intelligence Analyst, you play an integral role in detection and prevention by providing timely and pertinent analysis into violations of the Road Traffic Act, other Acts under LTA’s charge and their subsidiary legislations. This role requires you to collate and enrich information, analyse and research on a range of topics to produce actionable intelligence reports to aid in decision-making.
On the job, you will be leveraging on specialised skills, including statistical and visualisation techniques and data analytics to derive current trends and draw links across large volume of data. Part of your work will involve collaboration with external agencies and exploring new technologies to enhance data analytics and streamline intelligence processes.

• Knowledge in any discipline.
• Relevant background: Relevant experience in intelligence or analysis functions.
• Personality: Strong sense of integrity, self-driven, inquisitive, creative, and resourceful. Preference to work in a challenging and ever-changing operating environment.
• Effective communication: Able to communicate both verbally and in writing effectively.
• Research skills: Able to conduct sound research to gather relevant information and apply suitable analytical skills to discover insights, draw conclusions and give recommendations.
• Analytical skills: Able to logically critique a point of view and think through the issue from different angles, approaches, and perspectives to give a valid and sound assessment.
