What you will be working on
- Manage and process payments to ensure timely and accurate disbursements in accordance with policies and procedures
- Verify claims and supporting documents for compliance with financial regulations
- Advise departments on payment methods, documentation requirements, and tax matters
- Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for payments
- Processing Direct Credit Authorisation Forms and updating of vendors’ records in financial system
- Monitor grant budgets, commitments, and utilisation
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on grant disbursement matters
- Extract, analyse data, and prepare reports and accounting schedules
- Perform other ad hoc duties as required
What we are looking for
The job might be for you if you possess the following qualities:
- A Degree in Accountancy or related discipline with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Meticulous, with an eye for detail
- A resourceful and self-motivated individual, who can work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, written and verbal communication skills
- A good team player who can work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required, especially Microsoft Excel
