What you will be working on
• Housing Operations & Policy - You will support the review, administration and implementation of public housing policies and regulations as assigned. This includes engaging with residents and stakeholders to address housing management matters.
• Crisis Management & Emergency Response - You will provide operational support for HDB’s crisis and incident management, and work closely with our partners on managing the HDB's Emergency Hotline. This involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders during emergency response situations.
• Stakeholder Engagement – You will build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders through effective communication and liaison activities, ensuring clear engagement across various stakeholder groups.
• Process Improvement & Innovation - You will contribute to business process re-engineering initiatives aimed at streamlining operations and enhancing service delivery. This includes analysing data from customer interactions and case management to generate insights for process improvements, and supporting the implementation of relevant Ops-Tech or AI tools where applicable.
• You may be involved in working with departments within HDB to deliver estate programmes such as the Home Improvement Programme, depending on organisational needs.
• Please note that responsibilities may evolve based on organisational priorities and operational requirements. The successful candidate should be prepared to take on varied assignments within the housing management domain.
What we are looking for
• You should be a strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills, a customer-service mindset and the ability to establish rapport with people at all levels. Adaptability and willingness to take on diverse responsibilities as organisational needs evolve are essential.
• You should be proficient in standard government digital tools including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint. An interest or background in Ops-Tech or AI tools would be an advantage, along with strong learning agility to quickly acquire new skills and knowledge.
• The ability to remain calm and organised during high-pressure situations, particularly during crisis response, is crucial for this role.
Successful candidate will be offered a 1+1 year contract.
