What the role is

Join HDB's transformative Green Towns Programme (GTP) to lead the implementation of sustainable living solutions across Singapore's public housing estates. What you will be working on

Working with a team of Programme Managers and Researchers, you will be involved in: • Managing the deployment of initiatives and ensuring works are carried out and completed within the committed time frame, and milestones/targets are met. • Engagement with relevant stakeholders. • Preparation of publicity and engagement materials. Your primary responsibilities include: • Ensuring all initiatives (eg. Cool coatings, allotment/community gardens) implemented smoothly and within allocated budgets for zone(s) under your charge • Preparation and calling of tender(s) for implementation of initiatives, managing of tender upon award. • Communications plans – Planning and disseminating information to relevant stakeholders to facilitate upfront planning and downstream implementation of initiatives • Coordinating with stakeholders, which includes the HDB team, public agencies, and external parties (e.g., Town Councils) • Facilitating and introducing new initiatives into GTP • Collating and providing updates on progress of works, expenditure, tracking of KPIs, and periodic reporting to the Management

What we are looking for

• Relevant educational background in Engineering, Architecture, or related field with strong foundation in engineering principles • Excellent interpersonal, communication, writing, presentation, and organizational skills • Ability to develop and implement communications plans and strategies • Relevant experience in communications and project management in the Built Environment sector (e.g., building construction, estate management) is preferred • Self-motivated, able to work independently, and be an effective team player • Good analytical skills, problem-solving aptitude, and ability to coordinate efforts across teams The successful candidate will be offered a 2-year contract, with potential for renewal or transition to a permanent position based on organisational needs and performance.
