What the role is

The Competition and Consumer Commission of Singapore (CCS) administers and enforces Singapore’s competition, consumer protection and legal metrology laws. Amongst various things, CCS conducts investigations and takes enforcement action in appropriate cases, whilst providing effective advice to the Government and public authorities on national needs and policies in competition, consumer protection and legal metrology matters. What you will be working on

The Senior Executive/ Assistant Director (ICT Infrastructure and Operations) is responsible for overseeing, managing, and ensuring the reliability, security, and compliance of ICT infrastructure and operations. Key responsibilities include: • Infrastructure & Operations Management o Oversee day-to-day operations of servers, hosting, networks, end-user computing, and data centre facilities; o Ensure high availability, performance monitoring, and systems log reviews. • Vendor & Contractor Management o Manage Agency Facilities Management contractors and ICT/EUCD contractors; o Coordinate with contractors for infrastructure deployment and end-user device rollout. • Project & Procurement Management o Plan, manage, and implement ICT infrastructure projects; o Lead IT infrastructure procurement activities, including tender specifications, evaluations, recommendations, and awards; o Manage hardware, software, and subscription maintenance contracts. • Governance, Compliance & Security o Ensure compliance with Government IM8 policies and internal ICT policies and SOPs; o Plan and manage security vulnerability testing, remediation follow-ups, and audit findings; o Track and ensure compliance with security remediation timelines. • Incident, Risk & Continuity Management o Manage incidents and problems related to ICT systems; o Plan and execute annual disaster recovery testing and coordinate disaster recovery plans. • End-User Computing & Service Delivery o Manage procurement and leasing of end-user computing devices; o Ensure ICT services meet availability, continuity, and capacity requirements to support business operations.

What we are looking for

• Minimum Diploma or related fields with at least 5 years of relevant experience in managing cc and operations in government agencies is preferred; • Knowledge of Singapore Government procurement and ICT governance processes is preferred; • Knowledge of the Government IM8 policies and experience in IM8 audit is preferred; • Certification in AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS Solution Architect or GCC Foundation by GovTech is preferred; • Experienced with the management of cloud infrastructure and services in the Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) i.e. AWS, Azure cloud platforms is preferred.
