Health Promotion Board
You will be part of HPB’s Integrated Outreach (Central) team, which aims to create a Health Living Environment (HLE) where we make healthy living as part of everyday life in Singapore. We aim to do so by place making, activating communities and empowering community leaders to play a role in health promotion. We are seeking a highly driven and detail-oriented Project Management Office (PMO) Executive for a 6-month role. This is an exceptional opportunity for a recent graduate to gain invaluable professional experience in large-scale project management.
Job Summary
The Integrated Outreach (Cluster Management & Partnership) Trainee will support the Health Promotion Board in developing and executing outreach strategies, fostering community partnerships, and managing cluster-based health promotion initiatives to improve public health outcomes.
Job Responsibilities
* Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of integrated outreach programs across various community clusters.
* Support the development and maintenance of strong relationships with key community partners, stakeholders, and grassroots organizations.
* Conduct research and analysis to identify community health needs, trends, and potential partnership opportunities.
* Contribute to the creation of engaging and effective health promotion materials and campaigns tailored for diverse target audiences.
* Help organize and facilitate community engagement events, workshops, and health screenings.
* Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of outreach initiatives, collecting data and preparing reports on program outcomes.
* Provide administrative support for partnership agreements, meeting coordination, and general project management tasks.
* Collaborate with internal teams within the Health Promotion Board to ensure alignment and integration of outreach efforts.
* Stay updated on best practices in public health, community engagement, and partnership management.
Job Qualifications
A diploma or degree in Public Health, Community Development, Marketing, Communications, Social Sciences, or a related field.
Strong interest in public health and community engagement.
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning and problem-solving.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Prior experience in volunteer work, community engagement projects, or event coordination is a plus.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
The candidate should also possess:
A driven and resilient nature; unafraid of challenges and able to work effectively under pressure, both independently and as part of a team
Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders
Adaptability and the ability to work cohesively in fast-paced teams whilst navigating stressful, ambiguous situations positively
Comfort working effectively in matrix and highly dynamic team environments
Strong ability to distil and communicate concepts in a concise and coherent manner (both written and oral)
