What you will be working on
• Supporting Principal Specialist in execution of sub-roadmaps of Water Treatment specialisation in Water Supply (Plants) department (WSP) to ensure achievement of targets and milestones aligned to key objectives/deliverables for water treatment
• Driving technological advancement for WSP department in the areas of water treatment for fit-for-purpose and forward-looking technologies that improve capabilities and meet operational objectives.
• Executing improvement projects for WSP to provide solutions to problem statements within the department, ensuring complex operational issues are resolved and operations run smoothly.
• Managing projects to execute day-to-day project activities and ensure alignment with project plans, milestones and budgets.
• Water quality monitoring and reporting for waterworks and desalination plants
• Training and capability building for water treatment
What we are looking for
• Bachelor of Engineering (Environmental/Chemical) or relevant Science degree.
• Candidates with at least 5 years’ experience, with in-depth knowledge / know-how of water treatment, experience in process operations work will be preferred
• Strong communication skills
• Deep technical know-how in the area of water treatment
• Strong analytical thinking
• Strong data analysis and statistical skills
• Team player, independent and self-motivated
• Professional integrity and impartial
