The Municipal Services Office (MSO) was set up in October 2014 to improve the Government's overall coordination and delivery of municipal services. These services include the upkeep and improvement of the common living environment, such as the cleanliness and maintenance of the estates and the upgrading or provision of facilities and infrastructure.

What you will be working on
You will manage municipal feedback and ensure citizen-centric solutions by leading, coordinating, and facilitating collaboration among relevant stakeholders to improve the delivery of municipal services in Singapore. Beyond feedback management and coordination, you will also identify trends of systemic issues across different and intersecting scopes of work (infrastructure, environment, social etc.) underlying the delivery of municipal services, and work with relevant stakeholders to co-create sustainable and impactful solutions through performance management, digital platforms, capability development initiatives, new protocols and frameworks, etc.
DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES
You will gain experience and the opportunity to shape the citizen-government service compact in the handling of complex municipal feedback/issues across different agencies and scopes of work. You will also acquire and deepen your skills in managing multiple projects, as well as engaging diverse stakeholders to ensure optimal and sustainable outcomes.
What we are looking for
• You should be passionate about driving effective and long-term partnerships between stakeholders, with effective interpersonal skills to work with people of all levels. Individuals with in-depth experience in municipal matters, quality service, and performance management/data analytics would be preferred.
• As the job has frequent interactions with senior leadership, you should have strong writing, communication, and presentation skills.
• You should also be a team player who takes initiative and have keen analytical abilities and passion in engaging stakeholders to work towards win-win outcomes in order to realise goals for improving municipal services.
