This is an individual contributor role in the Resourcing and Ecosystem (RE) Division of the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF). RE aims to cultivate a future-ready social service sector that delivers quality services, is well-resourced, and has high levels of community engagement and contribution.

Drive the digital transformation of Singapore's social service sector and shape how technology can improve lives across our communities! You will develop strategic policies and plans that enable the digital transformation of Singapore’s social service sector, in collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders. For example, you will: · Work with key operational ‘business’ units to identify opportunities for digital innovation and transformation and conduct technology pilots within national social service programmes; · Design and review funding policies and strategies for technology adoption within the social service sector; · Review existing social service data platforms and infrastructure to map integration opportunities, identify interoperability enhancements, and develop recommendations for addressing unmet data sharing use cases across the sector; and · Establish comprehensive data governance and cybersecurity policies that align with national standards, whilst addressing the unique requirements of the social service sector. This is an individual contributor role, with the opportunity to progress into being the project lead of several key technology projects.

• Background in engineering, science and technology, public policy or other relevant fields. Postgraduate qualifications will be advantageous. • At least 2 years of experience in public policy, science and technology, and/or cybersecurity strategy. • Strong analytical thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Experience with digital transformation projects, particularly in the context of social service delivery, will be highly advantageous.
