You will play a key role in building development projects, including innovative industrial buildings and complex Centex developments. As a JTC engineer, you will be involved in design management activities, collaborating with internal project teams to review consultants' proposals, identify value engineering opportunities, drive excellence in building design quality, and ensure designs are both practical and tailored to end-user needs.

What you will be working on
1) Gather user requirements, translate them into technical specifications and develop preliminary schematic designs for buildings development
2) Work with the relevant authorities on the preliminary designs and seek buy-in to ensure subsequent successful implementation of projects
3) Conduct design reviews for projects and provide technical support to internal business groups and their respective customers
4) Collaborate with internal stakeholders to refine and enhance the design process
5) Conduct concept design development, design reviews and engineering assessment for building projects using specialise programmes.
6) Lead exciting and ground-breaking innovation projects and feasibility studies projects that promotes sustainability, construction productivity and safety
What we are looking for
Background in Civil Engineering. Having 1-2 years of relevant experience would have an advantage. Candidates should demonstrate a strong passion for building structural design, with an eagerness to learn and explore innovative design approaches. Self-driven, curious, innovative, and collaborative, with excellent interpersonal skills and creative problem-solving abilities
