What you will be working on
You will be responsible for the following:
Lead a group of technical officers to perform operation and maintenance of electrical equipment such as, high and low tension switchgear, electrical distribution and protection equipment, transformers and motors, distribution control system, instrumentation and process control, turbine and generator control and protection equipment
Lead a group of technical officers to perform operation and maintenance of mechanical equipment such as, combustion systems, stoker-grates, boiler water tubes, flue gas treatment equipment, steam turbine generators, ash handling systems and various pumps and lifting equipment.
Plan and carry out the preventive and remedial maintenance of all the electrical/mechanical system in the plant so as to achieve high availability and ensure breakdown equipment are repaired within the shortest possible time
Ensure all maintenance works are carried out safely and adhere to all safety regulations so as to achieve zero accident for the section
Call and administer tenders/contract for the maintenance, servicing and repair of the electrical/mechanical system in compliance to NEA procurement guidelines and IM requirements.

What we are looking for
Job Qualifications/Experience:
Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
Prior working experience in process / power plant engineering and the operation and maintenance of electrical/mechanical equipment system would be advantage
