What you will be working on

Role & Responsibilities: • Support the planning efforts of AVA, as well as the operationalisation of AVA programmes, events and activities, including seasonal programme, School Holiday Programme, School Sports Partnership Programme, ActiveSG Cup, Junior Sport Academy, Pesta Sukan and other outreach activities. • Assist with the capturing and maintaining of data for AVA, for research, analysis and evaluation work that is pertinent to the development and marketing of their programmes. • Work with internal and external stakeholders with the aim to enhance the current offering of programmes and playing opportunities that AVA provide. • Responsible for communication with participants and parents (email, social media) and highlight for actions if required. • Any other ancillary activities required by the team, where necessary.

What we are looking for

Requirements: We are looking for self-motivated individuals who value integrity, teamwork and take pride in going the extra mile to provide excellent service to stakeholders and the community. This individual should be a sport advocate through living an active lifestyle and staying active. In addition, an ideal candidate should possess the following: • Experience in sports programming & administration, event management is advantageous • Self-starter, works independently and willing to learn • Able to adapt in dynamic working environment • Able to work well with children, youth and individuals with special needs • Candidate should have a positive mindset when working and interacting with vulnerable children, at-risk youth and individual with special needs. • May be required to work on weekend and Public Holiday
