Manager/Senior Manager (Conservation) - Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve
What the role is
What you will be working on
You will be part of the team based at Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve (SBWR), with responsibilities including conservation management and daily operations, fieldwork, procurement, data management and liaising with contractors, and specialists in the field. You will manage contracts and lead/assist in relevant field surveys. Other responsibilities include coordinate and work with relevant government agencies and administrative works to support the operation of the Sungei Buloh Nature Park Network including community engagement.
What we are looking for
Areas of study in Environmental Management, Life Science, Environmental Engineering, Geography, or related discipline in applied sciences for conservation
Experience in water quality monitoring, benthic biodiversity, and wetlands/mudflats habitats preferred
Proficient in IT including Microsoft Office suite, with experience in data analytics tools such as Qlik Sense, Power BI, and GIS software would be an advantage
Enjoy working in an outdoor environment and with diverse stakeholders including contractors, vendors, experts, volunteers, and the public
Willing to work on weekends, after office hours, and respond to emergency cases
Proactive, good interpersonal skills with ability to work independently and in a team
Well-organised with good multi-tasking abilities
Class 3 driving licence preferred
