Specific Job Responsibilities: • Identify section-wide training needs and manage delivery of training plans. • Administer standard operating procedures to enhance standards of service staff. • Develop and implement work safety policies to ensure safety for entire section by complying to government safety regulations and conducting investigations of incidents. • Project coordination including creating content, monitoring project plans and schedules, organising stakeholders meetings, ensuring timelines are met and supervising vendors/contractors in their service delivery e.g. Istana Open Houses, Community Projects. • Manage inventory and logistical support • Scribe for operation, training and work safety meetings.

[Service Workforce Capability Development] • Identify learning needs of service staff and design simple interventions to develop capabilities (e.g. new learning content) • Conduct on-the-job training in accordance to standard curriculum • Organise learning materials and document SOPs in agency’s knowledge management system • Work with external training providers to organise learning and development programmes and events [Procurement Operations] • Oversee procurement operations, processes and execution to minimise lapses and non-compliance; provide advice on appropriate methods when situation is ambiguous to comply with procurement policies and processes • Monitor execution of procurement operations for accuracy and consistency with policies and processes; provide advice on impact of any changes to procurement operations efficiency, effectiveness and control oversight • Identify areas of improvement in procurement operations processes; perform root cause analysis to investigate and rectify lapses/non-compliance • Manage non-complex communications on contractual obligations between suppliers and end-users; escalate issues to appropriate stakeholders to resolve issues in a timely manner [Thinking Clearly and Making Sound Judgements] • You develop solutions for problems encountered in the course of carrying out your work tasks, guided by background knowledge and past experiences. • You examine complex problems using data and information to determine underlying issues.
