[LTA-TRO] ENGINEER, ROAD AND TRAFFIC ASSET RENEWAL
What the role is
What you will be working on
You will be part of a team responsible for regulating development and building works in the public streets as well as road structure safety zone to safeguard the road structure safety zone and public streets.
You will be involved in reviewing the design of both temporary and permanent works affecting the road structures and public streets, engineering risk assessment and engineering analysis, method of construction and instrumentation proposal, as well as review of geotechnical and structural instrumentation data, ensuring the construction is with accordance to LTA’s standards. In addition, you would also be involved with projects assets or Infrastructure are integrated with adjoining and adjacent developments, processing and coordinating the successful project handing over to the Authority.
Besides the opportunity to work with developers, their architectural and engineering consultants and contractors, you will also coordinate and liaise with LTA architects, planners , engineers, Asset owners on projects affecting road and road related facilities and systems.
You will also be expected to facilitate and coordinate other kinds of asset taking over procedures from developers, private owners, to the Authority.

Knowledge in Civil / Structural Engineering
Resourceful, analytical, able to thrive in a fast pace and demanding work environment
Self-motivated, able to multi-task and keen to learn
Possess initiative and keen interest to develop professional skillset
Able to work independently and a team player with good leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
Proactive and resourceful
Familiarity with AutoCAD and proficient in MS Office and document control systems is an advantage
Those with relevant experience in civil engineering design and strong understanding of construction drawings and as-built documentation works will have an advantage
