What you will be working on

As a DevSecOps Consultant, you will design, implement and maintain resilient cloud infrastructure that supports CPF Board’s Data Platform, enabling secure, reliable and scalable digital services for members and external organisations. Through automated CI/CD pipelines, embedded security controls and monitoring solutions, you will support efficient and secure application development and deployment. In this role, you will: • Design, deploy and maintain scalable Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) and on-premise infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, to support high-performing and reliable systems processing substantial data volumes. • Build, enhance and manage end-to-end CI/CD pipelines that automate software build, testing, security checks and release processes, enabling secure and consistent delivery with reduced manual effort and risk. • Partner cross-functional fusion/product teams to embed DevSecOps practices into day-to-day delivery, while working closely with Centre of Excellence team, infrastructure, and security teams to align departmental implementations with enterprise standards, architectures and operational guardrails. • Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise infrastructure and application performance through observability tools such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights and Log Analytics, while supporting incident response, issue resolution, capacity planning and service resilience. • Implement and strengthen security, compliance and governance controls in accordance with IT standards, and assess suitable DevSecOps tooling, infrastructure patterns and automation approaches to meet business needs and mitigate delivery risks.

What we are looking for

We value the diverse talents and experiences that each individual brings to the table. While mastery of every requirement may not be necessary, familiarity and expertise in some of the following areas will position you for success within this team. • Relevant experience in implementing and maintaining backend system infrastructure, with hands-on exposure to DevOps or DevSecOps and practical experience deploying applications on cloud platforms such as Azure or GCC. • Good understanding of the end-to-end Software Development Life Cycle, with the ability to configure, maintain and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps, and to support secure and reliable release practices. • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code and container technologies, such as Terraform or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Kubernetes (AKS) and Docker, for provisioning and managing scalable environments. • Knowledge of observability, performance monitoring and operational support using tools such as Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, Application Insights and Log Analytics, with the ability to diagnose issues and improve system reliability. • Familiarity with secure configuration, compliance requirements and embedded security controls within infrastructure and deployment pipelines, particularly in hybrid cloud environment. • Strong documentation, stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently, adapt to new technologies and evolving requirements, collaborate across teams, and communicate clearly both verbally and in writing. The seniority of appointment and actual corporate job title will commensurate with individual work experiences. Position is on a 2-year full-time contract directly under the payroll of CPF Board with potential for emplacement into a permanent position.
