• Deputise the Director of Finance and Administration in the full scope of the finance functions.
• Drive the annual budget exercise
• Co-drive and partner with business units on the fee review exercise and implementation of fee changes.
• Oversee and review budgetary systems, processes and frameworks
• Lead the design, review and implementation of the programme/project evaluation framework
• Develop planning, forecasting and costing techniques
• Lead the analysis of revenue, funding requirements and allocation of financial resources to bring about resource optimisation, value-for-money and fiscal sustainability for the organisation
• Support the organisation as the leading business partner for budgeting and resource management matters
• Monitor, analyse, report and present regular budgetary and financial performance variances to Board and management
• Lead the Accounts Payable, Claims and Refunds Function
• Supervise the monthly accounts closing activities for AP, claims, refunds and grant management
• Lead related policy and process improvements
• Provide guidance and direction to staff reporting to him/her

What we are looking for
• Professional qualification in accountancy
• 6 to 8 years of working experience in management accounting and reporting and related areas
• Possesses in-depth and updated knowledge of budget planning & administration, costing and resource optimisation, performance management and business partnering
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience in using business intelligence or skills in data mining and business analytics will be an advantage
• Good writing and presentation skills.
• Possesses strong analytical abilities; able to decipher and create linkages between huge volumes of financial and non-financial data.
• Innovative, resourceful and a problem-solver. Able to examine issues from various perspectives and recommend the most effective solution
• Strong interpersonal skills; able to communicate and work effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Self-starter with high levels of initiative; able to work well under pressure and tight timelines
