You will play a key role in advancing strategies relating to healthcare manpower as part of efforts to meet the evolving needs of an ageing population and consolidating care. In particular, you will contribute to the development and implementation of (i) competency-based training and assessment frameworks, such as Entrustable Professional Activities (EPAs) and Programme of Assessments (PoA), and (ii) standards governing high-stakes professional examinations.
The work you contribute will ultimately empower HCPs to upskill and practise at the top of their licence, contributing to optimised deployment of the healthcare workforce across care settings based on their competencies.
Your contribution will span the entire spectrum of healthcare professional development, from undergraduate studies through to specialist training, encompassing various healthcare disciplines including allied health, dental, medicine, nursing, pharmacy, and other healthcare professions.
You will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that requires the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders (including senior clinicians) simultaneously.

What you will be working on
• Developing and overseeing policies relating to healthcare professionals’ training and assessment, and ensuring their proper implementation
• Facilitating cross-disciplinary initiatives to ensure consistency in adhering to competency standards across different healthcare professions
• Integrating emerging technologies and innovative approaches into healthcare professional training and assessment, managing their adoption and implementation when necessary
• Developing and overseeing the implementation of training programmes to ensure that programme objectives, quality standards, timelines, and budgets are met
• Organising meetings and managing stakeholders effectively, including setting realistic expectations, clarifying roles of all involved parties, managing conflicts, and maintaining appropriate levels of communication
• Reviewing progress and performance of programmes, recommending actions for improvement, and providing advice to stakeholders to ensure alignment with programme objectives and timelines
• Delivering impactful presentations to stakeholders such as healthcare professionals, public healthcare cluster leadership, and MOH senior management
What we are looking for
• Candidates with tertiary qualifications in healthcare or education-related fields and at least three years of relevant working experience in related fields including but not limited to healthcare, healthcare administration, education, and policy work will have an advantage
