Assistant Manager / Manager (Office Management), (6-Months Temp)

What you will be working on

Responsibilities: (1) Assets Management • Assist Reporting Officer (RO) and act as first point of contact for all fixed asset management matters. • Ensure timely completion of finance operations relating to fixed asset accounting, reporting, and management. • Work closely with internal and external auditors to support annual financial report preparation and audits. • Custodian of fixed assets within the division through the asset’s lifecycle including fixed assets disposal due to asset relocation. • Participate in digitalisation/transformational initiatives to enhance operational processes and achieve work efficiency relating to fixed asset management. • Any other related tasks on asset management as assigned. (2) Office Management • Assist RO to oversee the office management for all CSA offices onsite and offsite. • Ensure the appointed insourced team discharge their responsibilities daily. • Review insourced team’s procurement submissions, replies on requests/feedback and monthly report. • Work with insourced team for payment verification with supporting documents and achieve zero late payment. • Any other related tasks on office management as assigned. (3) Events Management • Assist RO to oversee the events management for a wide range of internal and external events organise by CSA and its divisions. • Provide efficient and effective management of logistics support for all events. • Any other related tasks on events management as assigned.

What we are looking for

Requirements: • Tertiary education in the Built Environment, or equivalent. • Good communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with stakeholders. • Effective communication and reporting skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders. • Ability to make informed decisions under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Prior working experience in public sector assets management and events management is preferred. • Familiar with government fixed assets management and procurement guidelines is an advantage.
