The Partnership Lab serves as National Youth Council's strategic engine for relationship building and collaboration development with NYC's diverse stakeholder network. What you will be working on

As Manager / Assistant Manager (Partnership Lab), you will play a crucial role in the following: • Stakeholder Management and Partnerships o Build sector knowledge and networks: Understand the youth landscape and connect with stakeholders, monitor trends, and identify emerging needs and opportunities that are not being addressed o Forge and manage partnerships: Engage organisations with complementary strengths and co-shape youth centric opportunities that deliver value for all parties o Drive impactful outcomes: Structure grants and support mechanisms whilst managing stakeholder relationships to ensure partnerships create real impact for youths young Singaporeans • Grant Administration and Management o Grant stewardship and governance: Support in grant stewardship including reporting, grant compliance, database and contract management, audit process and data systems to support decision-making and programme evaluation o Administer grant lifecycle: Assess applications, grant closures and manage disbursements for youth groups and organisations, ensuring proper grant governance o Drive process improvements: Review and enhance grant processes, and work with internal stakeholders to implement changes that improve overall user experience and operational efficiency • Programme Management and Youth Engagement o Involve in Young ChangeMakers (YCM) programme: Be part of the programme operations, maintain relationships with YCM curators and other key stakeholders, coordinate monthly youth pitches, and co-deliver activities that increase brand awareness o Support youth project implementation: Connect youth-led ground-up projects to relevant networks, mentors, grants and other support to ensure successful youth-led projects o Support other Partnership Lab key initiatives: Work with other Partnership Lab teams to support key initiatives under SG Youth Plan Depending on team assignment, you may have additional enhanced focus on either: • Ground-Up Initiatives Focus: Develop action-led platforms by planning and implementing youth engagement platforms and initiatives that encourage and enable youth action across various programmes, with programme planning and coordination capabilities. • Youth Sector Partnership Focus: Enhanced grant administration experience with analytical and data management skills, process improvement capabilities, and experience with contract management and budget monitoring.

What we are looking for

• Partnership Development & Stakeholder Management: Ability to identify opportunities, build meaningful partnerships, and manage diverse stakeholder relationships effectively with excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport and inspire trust with young people and stakeholders • Grant Administration & Analytical Skills: Experience in grant lifecycle management, financial disbursements, compliance, and strong analytical capabilities including data management, critical thinking, and attention to detail • Programme Planning & Coordination: Capability to plan, implement and manage programmes across different platforms with project management skills and ability to work in dynamic environments • Communication & Adaptability: Strong communication skills to engage effectively with youth groups, organisations and internal stakeholders, coupled with flexibility to adapt to evolving youth needs and ability to work both independently and as part of a team • Availability to work on weekends when required due to the nature of the engagement platforms and target audience of youths Advantageous Experience: • Experience working with youth groups, organisations or supporting ground-up initiatives • Contract management and budget monitoring experience
