What you will be working on
- Manage manpower administration for a BMTC School, including staffing, movements, contracts, call ups and regimental duty planning for Regulars, NSFs and NS trainers
- Support Basic Military Training course administration and out-of-course management, including in processing, strength tracking, Army Training Management System (ATMS) updates, postings and re-course coordination
- Administer regimentation, discipline, awards and recognition matters in accordance with BMTC and Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) policies
- Lead administrative staff and support BMTC events whilst managing personnel welfare initiatives
- Perform ad hoc administrative tasks as directed to support operational requirements
Challenge(s)
- Managing high administrative throughput with large volumes of manpower, course and personnel administration arising from high recruit intake and multiple trainer populations
- Coordinating effectively with multiple stakeholders including Headquarters BMTC Admin Section, School Headquarters and training units to align HR, course administration, regimentation and welfare requirements
- Ensuring timely, accurate and compliant processing of administrative, discipline and personnel records in accordance with SAF and BMTC policies
- Maintaining operational responsiveness to support time-sensitive training activities and events whilst delivering consistent service standards
What we are looking for
- Education in any field
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in administration or registry work, with HR administrative experience being advantageous
- Strong team player with a meticulous approach to work and exceptional attention to detail
- Good communication, time management and organisational skills with competency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to operate effectively in a structured military environment
