What you will be working on
- Develop yearly command safety workplans and strategic safety initiatives for DTCOM
- Conduct yearly audits to ensure compliance with safety directives through comprehensive inspections and visits to workplace and training grounds
- Oversee the management of safety incidents and investigations
- Engage with leadership and ground personnel to promote an open reporting culture
Challenge(s)
- Navigating the complexities of safety matters within the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) and Defence Intelligence Service (DIS) environment
- Balancing operational training requirements with stringent safety standards while maintaining mission readiness
What we are looking for
- At least 6 years of working experience in a safety-related appointment
- Experience with safety matters in SAF and DIS is advantageous
- Good planning abilities and organisational acumen
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to engage leadership and ground personnel effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and manage multiple priorities
