Manager (Operations Plans & Governance)

You will support the Deputy Director (Plans) in maintaining, implementing and managing frameworks, systems and processes to support research and technology (R&T) and experimentation management in Future Systems and Technology Directorate (FSTD) and the broader ecosystem.

- Develop and maintain Research and Development (R&D) and experimentation policies, systems and processes, including related contracting matters to ensure governance and compliance - Implement and manage FSTD knowledge management systems and frameworks - Oversee the development and maintenance of FSTD Business Continuity Plan - Support Assistant Director (Strategic Plans) and Deputy Director (Plans) in strategic planning initiatives Challenge(s) - Keeping abreast of MINDEF policies and processes to effectively advise and propose changes to R&D and experimentation systems and processes - Managing complex issues that involve coordination across multiple departments and entities

- Education in a relevant field - At least 2 years of work experience in developing frameworks, policies and processes for technology management is preferred - Knowledge and experience in MINDEF General Orders Manual (GOM) in the areas of Procurement, Logistics and Finance are essential - Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, time management and analytical skills - Highly motivated individual and good team player who is able to work under immense pressure (Applicants with no experience may apply.)
