Deputy Director (Strategic Communications & Special Projects), National Space Ag

The job holder will support the Chief Industry & Partnerships Officer in setting the strategic direction for NSAS’ communications, branding and media efforts. This role will provide communications counsel to senior management and divisions and drive NSAS’ communications and publicity efforts. He/she will lead and develop a high-performing strategic communication and project team, building domain expertise while cultivating strong stakeholder relationships across the ecosystem.

Strategic Communications • Lead the team in strategic communications, data-driven planning and media engagement, and integrate communications plans across social, online and offline platforms. • Provide comms counsel to senior management and business units and drive their communications and publicity efforts. Special Projects • Lead the team to conceptualise, manage, and offer comprehensive support for NSAS’s key flagship events that are organised physically, virtually, or in hybrid format in Singapore and international markets. These events are strategically designed to advance NSAS’s vision and mission. • Lead the team to pursue effective partnerships for key events and platforms to ensure seamless event execution. This is achieved through effective event management, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of high-quality events, in terms of content and delivery.

• At least 10-12 years of relevant experience in communications roles, including digital communications and public relations • Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills, and strong experience in stakeholder management • Strong strategic mindset, with the ability to anticipate trends and drive innovation
