What the role is

The AI Practice Lead is responsible for defining and driving governance, standards, and
best practices for Artificial Intelligence (AI) initiatives across the organization. This
leadership role ensures AI projects align with ethical guidelines, regulatory
requirements, and business objectives while fostering innovation and technical
excellence. The ideal candidate will lead AI strategy, capability development, and cross
functional collaboration to enhance AI adoption and maturity within the organization.

What you will be working on

Key Responsibilities

AI Governance & Compliance

  • Establish AI governance frameworks, policies, and ethical guidelines to ensure responsible AI development and usage.
  • Ensure compliance with global AI regulations, data protection laws, and industry standards.
  • Define model validation, monitoring, and risk assessment protocols for AI solutions.

AI Standards & Best Practices

  • Develop and promote best practices for machine learning (ML), deep learning, and AI deployment.
  • Standardize AI development methodologies, tooling, and lifecycle management.
  • Drive the adoption of responsible AI principles, ensuring fairness, transparency, and security in AI models.

AI Capability Development & Enablement

  • Lead AI talent development initiatives, including training programs, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Build AI competency frameworks to develop technical expertise across teams.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to integrate AI into business processes and products.

Strategic Alignment & Innovation

  • Define AI strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Partner with leadership teams to identify high-impact AI opportunities that drive competitive advantage.
  • Oversee research and development (R&D) efforts to explore emerging AI trends and technologies.

People Management & Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of AI professionals, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, set clear expectations, and provide career development opportunities.
  • Promote a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and ethical AI development.

What we are looking for

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree or PhD in AI, Machine Learning, or Data Analytics (preferred).
  • Proven experience in AI leadership roles, driving governance, compliance, and capability development.
  • Strong expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Hands-on knowledge of AI ethics, privacy regulations, and responsible AI principles.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills.
