What you will be working on
• Oversee the assets operations which includes asset capitalisation, asset write off, depreciation, month-end and year-end accounts closing activities for both PUB and government assets
• Preparation of management and financial reports in relation to assets, including conducting variance analysis for movement in PPE
• Provide accounting advisory on asset and leases related business transactions to ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Implement and maintain robust internal controls in relation to the proper management of asset records
• Work across and with internal stakeholders, including asset and procurement departments, to support and provide information related asset management, and foster a culture of accountability and financial discipline
• Undertake digital transformation projects using tools such as Robotics Process Automation and Artificial Intelligence to improve work processes and services to departments
What we are looking for
• Bachelor degree in Accountancy, Business or related field with 5 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of accounting standards related to asset management and leases preferred
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with a track record of driving process improvement initiatives and innovation
• Proficient in IT tools and software for various use cases, such as financial analysis and control reviews
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• This is a contract position under Dec 2027
