Deputy Director (Learning Excellence)

You advance Training Development and Innovation (TD&I) organisational excellence by implementing the updated Training Institute Excellence Model (TIEM) across the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) training hub and validating course curricula while leading a team to expand scope beyond in-house course validation to develop SAF-wide learning evaluation frameworks and course validation methods and standards.

- Develop and implement Training Institute Excellence Model (TIEM) - Develop and implement SAF/IML Validations Framework - Establish and maintain knowledge repository of lessons identified related to training institute excellence for continuous improvement - Generate insights to support data-driven decision making for short-cycle and long-cycle enhancements to TIEM and course validation standards including use of Artificial Intelligence-based tools such as Agentic Artificial Intelligence with Co-pilot - Strengthen the SAF's ability to systematically analyse learning effectiveness and continuously improve learning quality Challenge(s) - Leading transformation while serving as exemplary role model in evaluation domain across the SAF

- Education in Research or Learning Design fields - At least 15 years of experience in evaluation, performance measurement, and/or audit of learning/training - Strong leadership skills to manage branch transformation and serve as role model - Experience with data-driven decision making and knowledge repository management - Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence-based tools and learning evaluation frameworks Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
