What the role is

You serve as the subject matter expert in leadership development for Specialists, Warrant Officers and Military Experts in the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF).

What you will be working on

- Develop leadership development curricula for Specialists, Warrant Officers and Military Experts - Implement and sustain leadership development training and education efforts - Coordinate efforts with Singapore Armed Forces Sergeant Major, Sergeant Major Academy, Master Chief Navy, Air Force Command Chief and Defence Intelligence Chief while collaborating with Services' training and human resource departments - Ensure and manage qualifications of trainers in training establishments to conform to standards set by Centre for Leadership Development (CLD) - Measure effectiveness and impacts of Leadership and Organisational Development training and education in workplace Challenge(s) - Working across multiple Services and Joint Staff requiring alignment of diverse perspectives, priorities and operational needs whilst managing expectations and maintaining integrity of leadership development doctrine - Ensuring trainer qualifications conform to standards whilst measuring effectiveness and impacts of Leadership and Organisational Development programmes across diverse operational contexts - Keeping abreast of the leadership competencies and skills requirements of Specialists, Warrant Officers, and Military Experts across the four Services

What we are looking for

- At least 6 years of relevant experience - Deep knowledge of Warrant Officer, Specialist and Military Expert leadership development roadmap and routes of advancement - Preferably held Service-level Sergeant Major, Master Chief, Command Chief or ChiefX and/or Singapore Armed Forces Sergeant Major appointment - Competence and confidence to lead Warrant Officer, Specialist and Military Expert leaders - Recognition as role model by Warrant Officer, Officer and Military Expert Corps - Strong coordination and collaboration skills across multiple Services and departments Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
