What you will be working on
- Monitor defence and security-related developments in the region and the world
- Sense-make developments within existing geo-political context to provide timely and accurate assessments
- Collaborate across teams to ensure comprehensive understanding of regional and global security landscape
- Work with other stakeholders to fill information gaps and validate preliminary assessments
- Present written assessments
- Conduct research and analysis on defence policy, defence relations, security matters and related analytical work
Challenge(s)
- Keeping pace with rapidly evolving geo-strategic and security developments
- Providing timely and accurate sense-making within complex geo-political contexts
What we are looking for
- Education in Political Science, International Relations or a related field
- At least 6 years of relevant experience in policy, research and analysis
- Good appreciation of geo-strategic and security-related developments in the region and the world
- Good analytical skills
- Excellent writing ability with capability to present assessments in excellent English
- Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders
