You will join AGD’s Cash Management & Payments (CMP) Branch, under the Financial Reporting & Systems (Ministries) Group. This branch oversees the central finance operations, covering electronic invoice (e-invoice) and payment processes in central systems between the Government and its vendors, and liquidity management for Statutory Boards (SBs).

What you will be working on
Specifically, you will be supervising the team handling liquidity-related activities such as:
• Overseeing the relevant financial system modules relating to liquidity management operations
• Performing liquidity management activities such as projections, funds transfer, deposit placements, etc to ensure SBs’ payment requirements are adequately funded and returns are optimised
• Handling policy and process reviews, system enhancements, stakeholder engagement and project execution placing of deposits to optimise returns for participating SBs
• Providing user support by responding to queries from agencies that are onboard the liquidity management initiative.
• As the team lead, the role will take a guiding role in the periodic reviews of liquidity management frameworks and polices. The officer may also be involved in ad hoc system enhancements and projects that support other areas of CMP work.
What we are looking for
Functional/Technical Competencies
• Tertiary education in Accountancy, Business, Finance, or related disciplines.
• Experience in managing a small team is preferred.
• Knowledge and experience in liquidity management is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Good knowledge of automation skillsets and coding skills is a plus, but not mandatory.
Generic Competencies

• Team-player with positive working attitude and a strong mindset for learning and growth.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and good communication and interpersonal skills.
