Executive Property Manager (1-Year Contract)

What the role is

The candidate will oversee the day-to-day maintenance and operations of URA's buildings and facilities. This role encompasses comprehensive facilities management including space planning, contractor supervision, and ensuring regulatory compliance across all building systems and operations. This is a 1-year contract role that is non-renewable.

What you will be working on

You will manage building infrastructure, facilities, security systems and soft services whilst supervising contractors to ensure they fulfil their contractual obligations. You will coordinate events and visits activities whilst managing the operation and booking of URA’s event and recreational facilities. You will be responsible for ensuring that preventive and corrective maintenance programmes for all building works, equipment and systems are carried out on schedule and in compliance with relevant regulatory and organisational requirements. You will plan and manage additions and alterations, upgrading projects, and other ad-hoc works as required. This includes managing project budgets, tracking costs, evaluating variations, and implementing cost control measures to ensure projects are delivered within scope and budget. In addition, you will explore and implement initiatives and policies relating to environmental sustainability and smart facilities management, contributing to URA's operational efficiency and environmental objectives.

What we are looking for

1. Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related discipline with at least 5 years of experience in facilities management and operations. Alternatively, candidates without a degree should possess an additional 5 years of relevant work experience 2. Strong knowledge of building operations and maintenance works, vendor management, regulatory requirements, and current codes of practice 3. Experience in managing security systems, event coordination, and property management operations 4. Excellent communication, problem-solving, written and interpersonal skills 5. Certification as Fire Safety Manager, Workplace Safety Manager and/or Green Mark Accredited Professional will be an advantage
