Overall Job Purpose
Assist Reporting Officer (RO) in the protection, preservation, and sustainable management of heritage and natural assets in Sentosa. This includes notable historical sites on Sentosa such as Fort Siloso (74th National Monument), the Fort Siloso Skywalk and Sentosa Nature Discovery, among others.
The role focuses on assisting in the protection, preservation, and sustainable management of heritage and natural assets in Sentosa, including key sites like Fort Siloso, Fort Serapong, Mount Imbiah, Fort Connaught etc. Responsibilities include managing these assets to enhance visitor experience, conducting inspections, liaising with government agencies and specialists for maintenance and restoration, managing heritage records, preparing reports, and overseeing projects to ensure timely delivery within budget. Secondary duties involve supporting venue operations, contributing to future developments, and responding to service and safety issues, all aimed at promoting public engagement, education, and outreach on Sentosa.

What you will be working on
Key Responsibilities
Proactively manage heritage and natural assets to seamlessly complement and enhance the visitor experience through integrated attractions and offerings on Sentosa.
Conduct regular inspections, site condition assessments and surveys of recreational, heritage and nature assets in Sentosa to identify risks and necessary interventions to ensure a safe and enjoyable guest experience.
Liaise with government agencies, stakeholders and consultants to ensure repair, restoration, and maintenance works at heritage sites in Sentosa are in satisfactory condition in accordance with conservation practices, preservation and heritage guidelines.
Engage with government agencies, stakeholders and consultants to provide advice, facts check and ensure heritage values are considered in reports, proposals and plans.
Engage in-house exhibit specialists, qualified artisans and other specialists to undertake the maintenance and restoration of exhibits across SDC's managed recreational, heritage and nature spaces, such as artefacts, figurines, diorama, mural, mannequins, relevant accessories and other display exhibits.
Manage and maintain records of heritage assets in Sentosa.
Prepare reports, proposals, and presentations on heritage matters.
Support and manage assigned projects from inception to completion, including contract management, procurement, and contractor/consultant supervision.
Ensure assigned projects are delivered on time within the resources and budget allocated, and to the required quality standards.
Drive new and differentiated experiences, highlighting areas of opportunities for activation to increase Sentosa’s attractiveness for public engagement, education and outreach.
Collaborate across SDC functions to support and maintain SDC's managed heritage and natural spaces, facilitating venue operations and initiate improvements as well as responding to service disruptions, safety concerns, and providing guest assistance.
Contribute to the innovative integration of heritage and natural assets into future developments.
Complete any other duties assigned from time to time.
What we are looking for
Job Requirements
Minimum Diploma with substantial relevant experience in heritage conservation, asset management, or project management.
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience.
Experience with historical sites, monuments, or natural conservation areas preferred.
