What the role is

This traineeship provides an opportunity to learn on the job, the role supports strategic organisational development interventions and programmes.

What you will be working on

The trainee will be involved in a few areas which includes: a) Support in the action planning workshops based on FY2025 Employee Engagement Survey (ESS) insights. Assist in the implementation and tracking of interventions and initiatives. b) Develop interactive system / dashboard to visualise and track workforce metrics and trends. c) Establish People & Culture risk registers management through workforce analytics, implement monitoring systems with key risk indicators and early warning mechanisms integrated with existing HR platforms and develop tailored mitigation strategies including preventive measures, contingency planning, and risk transfer mechanisms. d) Conduct a comprehensive mapping exercise of existing wellness initiatives against the established wellness framework to identify gaps and opportunities for enhancement. e) Provide support to various Organizational Development projects, as assigned.

Eligibility for GRIT@Gov traineeship

The GRaduate Industry Traineeship Programme within the Public Service (GRIT@Gov) aims to provide fresh graduates with opportunities to gain industry-relevant skills and experience that can strengthen their employability to take up full time roles in the sector.

All trainees must fulfil the following criteria:

  • Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident; and
  • Graduated or graduating in 2024, 2025 or 2026 from Universities, Polytechnics, the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) and other Educational Institutions (e.g. private universities and overseas institutions); or
  • Graduated earlier from above institutions and completed National Service in 2024, 2025 or 2026.
  • Applicants must have no prior working experience and must be prepared to commit to a full-time traineeship.

Trainees who complete their studies from Universities, Polytechnics, the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) or other Educational Institutions within 2026 but who will only receive their qualification/certification award in 2027 are eligible for the programme as well.
