What you will be working on
Strategic Policy and Programme Development:
You will be involved in strategic work which includes analysing trends, formulating policies and execution plans, building capabilities in the sporting ecosystem, resource allocation, and driving projects and negotiations.
Specifically, you will work closely with Sport Singapore and other stakeholders on policies and programmes for the high-performance sport (HPS) ecosystem, as well as sporting opportunities for our children and youth. These include strategies to make sports a viable career for current and aspiring athletes, and to maximise our athletes’ sporting potential through greater integration of support and facilities.
Your work will involve:
- Reviewing existing policies and programmes to identify opportunities for enhancements,
- Preparing written submissions to put forward policy recommendations,
- Seeing through implementation of key projects and policy enhancements to completion, and
- Leading complex negotiations with other agencies that advance Singapore's sporting objectives.
What we are looking for
Work Experience and Knowledge:
a. Minimum of 3 years of experience in roles involving policy and planning, strategic planning, consulting, law or journalism.
b. Familiarity with the local sport sector is advantageous.
c. Passion for public policy work, or experience in public service experience, is advantageous.
