The Manager will be part of the Industry Development and Grants team (Skyrise Greenery) to oversee industry engagement activities and manage key programmes. This includes organising the Landscape Design Challenge during Singapore Garden Festival 2026, managing and producing resources for the Industry Telegram platform and skyrise greenery website, and supporting the development of industry standards. The role also involves administering two grant programmes - the Skyrise Greenery Incentive Scheme (SGIS) and Social Enterprise Community Urban Farms (SECUF) Grant - guiding applicants through the entire process from initial application through to final disbursement and compliance monitoring.
[What you will be working on]
• Process and evaluate SGIS and SECUF grant applications, ensuring compliance with programme requirements and guidelines.
• Oversee SGIS Audits for projects within the 5-year undertaking period, conducting site visits and compliance assessments.
• Manage the Industry Telegram platform, facilitating communication and engagement with industry stakeholders.
• Maintain and update the skyrise greenery one-stop portal, ensuring accurate information and user-friendly access.
• Serve as 2nd IC for the Landscape Design Challenge during Singapore Garden Festival 2026, coordinating event logistics and stakeholder management.
• Assist in overseeing the development of standards across NParks, contributing to policy formulation and technical guidelines.
• Support industry engagement initiatives and serve as secretariat support for Industry Secretariat Workgroup as part of the NParks-Industry Council.
What we are looking for
• Areas of studies in Environmental Science, Horticulture, Botany, Landscape Design, Architecture, or in a related field of study.
• Minimally up to 3 years of relevant working experience in stakeholder engagement, grant administration or project/event management particularly in urban greening projects or content development.
• Strong project management skills with ability to handle multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Independent contributor with proven ability to work effectively with government agencies, industry partners, and community stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in organising events and managing digital platforms.
• Proficiency in data management and reporting, with strong analytical and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of Singapore's urban greening landscape and sustainability initiatives would be advantageous.
• Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team member in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to existing team processes and systems.
